These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CalorieBot AI (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

CalorieBot AI is a WhatsApp-based AI assistant that provides estimated calorie and macronutrient information for meals. The Service is delivered via WhatsApp messaging and requires an active WhatsApp account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Free Trial and Subscription

  • New users receive a 24-hour free trial upon first activation.
  • After the trial, choose from the Starter plan (€2.99/month) or the Plus plan (€5.49/month).
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment details will be provided upon subscription activation.
  • You may cancel at any time by contacting support.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions.
  • Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates third-party rights.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the Service’s underlying systems.

5. Medical Disclaimer

The calorie and nutrition estimates provided by this Service are generated by artificial intelligence and are approximate. They are intended for general informational purposes only and are NOT medical advice. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are managing a chronic illness.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CalorieBot AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any nutritional estimates provided.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp message. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
